The Information and Privacy Commission wants to hear from you May 25, 2016
A couple of weeks ago we published a Q&A with the NSW Information Commissioner Elizabeth Tydd about access to government information.
The Information and Privacy Commission NSW (IPC) now wants to hear about your experiences and ideas of public participation in the development of government agency policies and the exercise of agency functions in NSW.
In September 2015, the NSW Information Commissioner made a commitment to ensuring that all NSW citizens contribute meaningfully in the development of agency policy and service delivery by government agencies in NSW.
The first step in this process is hearing from the NSW community. You can provide your feedback, ideas and vote in the IPC’s quick polls.

The feedback you provide will contribute directly to the development of resources which will support agencies and the community in achieving better public participation.
The consultation is open until 31 May 2016.
Update: The consultation period has been extended to 31 July 2016
