This talk was delivered by Cassie Findlay, Project Manager, Digital Archives at the NSW Branch meeting of the Australian Society of Archivists on May 18 2011. Cassie talks about State Records’ Future Proof strategy and its aims, including the goal of giving State Records the capacity to accept, preserve and make available digital records as State archives. She describes the strategies used to secure the funding for the project and discusses the challenges and opportunities that now lie ahead with the project getting underway.
